very silly Q re: MBB offices

for those with MBB experience--what was the office situation like? do associates (at M; consultants at BB--that is, the post-MBA) get own offices? share? cubicles? i imagine this might differ office to office, but if yu can share your wisdom, it'd be nice. thanks.

From what I've seen, some share offices, others are in cubes. This is also true for the position below (BA/A/AC). I've seen others at the same firm where everyone has an office to share.

The only people I've seen with their own offices were Partner or a step below.

Its mainly a 'hot desk' formula. At least at the consultant or even engagement manager level - you sit where there is space. Obviously coz mon-thu (or even mon-fri sometimes) you're at the client site.

Once you get in consulting you realize that the day you're at your home office, you're basically chillin, talking to fellow consultants, raiding the pantry, and taking 2 hour lunches. Why? Coz you haven't forgotten the shit hours you worked at the client site.
