What does it take to get a MBB return offer

Just heard from B recruiting that offers for undergrad interns won't be extended until the last week of the internship, which realigns them with the rest of the corporate world apart from Bain, it seems. This is 100% a departure from the last few years.

For those of y'all who make the return offer decisions, what does it take to get/lose the return offer? What hard and soft skills would you want to see in an intern that makes you say "I want to work with them again."

Thanks in advance!!!

Getting a return offer is almost entirely a 10-week personality test. You can essentially suck at the job, but as long as there is visible effort during the internship, they will work to train you FT.
