What is operational research?
Hi guys:
i have a 1st round interview coming up with Operational Research division of a consulting firm....the job description on the application is very vague, so i was just wondering if anyone can give me some pointers on what it is and how to prepare for its interview?

Im pretty sure he knows what operations research is...
Operational Research = Operations Research
It could also be research on (practical) operations in the respective company though. Something like (less optmization oriented) process engineering. But I just thought so. You are probably right.
