What level is McKinsey Sr Associate?
I've been seeing the Sr. Associate title pop up on LinkedIn for McKinsey connections?
What is a Sr. Associate? I thought you went from Associate to Engagement Manager?
It's an informal title for a second-year Associate. You may also use people use the title Junior Engagement Manager, which is also an informal title.
More or less comparable to an "experienced" Consultant at Bain or BCG
Didn't this have to do with McK having Direct to Associate now? As far as I understand they want to differentiate between Post-MBA hires and Pre-MBA hires who go to associate, as those are often differently equipped than the fresh MBA hires.
Quick LinkedIn search makes it seem like what you're saying is true - Seems like the direct promotes become Sr. Associates?
