What to do after freshman yr summer
Hi Wso family,
I’m currently a freshman at a large SEC school (UF, UGA, or UTK) and have signed an offer for Summer 2026 with a Big 4 firm in their tax practice. My goal is to transition into strategy or tech consulting.
Asides from case prepping and networking, I want to make the most of this summer to strengthen my profile for competitive recruiting. I’m considering research but am open to other ideas. I’d appreciate any advice on how to best position myself for a pivot into consulting
