Will I be at a disadvantage if I don’t get into Diversity programs?
So I am a sophomore eligible for and I am applying to the diversity programs. I see that hundreds of people are getting into these programs for McKinsey and BCG. I am wondering, If I do not get an offer this year, will I be at a disadvantage in terms of they already have enough URMs? Like will I be on the same playing field as everyone else apply that year or will I be a step behind because they have many URMs already? Im honestly really stressed right now.
Also please no mean comments about diversity programs I just have a question.
You’re not at a disadvantage, you just don’t have one specific additional advantage. Plenty of other ways to have additional advantages for yourself.
Thats somewhat of a relief. What are some of the other ways to get an advantage if you don't mind me asking?

No, in no circumstances will being URM disadvantage you. URM will typically still help land first rounds during standard recruitment
