Winter internships 2012-2013?

Does anyone know of companies that offer winter internships- preferable spanning from December 2012 to January/February 2013? I have some time on my hands before starting FT, and think learning another industry is more beneficial than traveling (for now). Consulting, investment banking, don't really care if it's unpaid. Anyone from the NYC metro area, what do you have for me? Willing to provide credentials upon request :)

If you are at a target school, go through your career site for postings.

If you aren't, try reaching out to alumni at the BB firms as well as middle market banks and inquire about a winter internship. Many banks do paid off-cycle internships but those positions are obtained largely through networking; without that, your only real selling point is how willing you are to take an unpaid role. It will be harder in NYC than with regional offices.

I am permanently behind on PMs, it's not personal.
