ZS associates exit opps

Hi all,

Just wondering what your opinion is of ZS associates exit opps. They are pretty selective and you get good strategy as well as sales/marketing consulting experience. My eventual goal would be to work in a vc backed start up and if possible in the biotech/pharma arena.

Thanks!

Opps. are comparable to other 2nd tier consulting firms, but more uncertain. I imagine they have good b-school placement as they are reasonably well respected in the health care consulting place but I couldn't tell you where people get into.

If your goal is to work at a start-up in the biotech/pharma experience, ZS will definitely expose you to an enormous amount of life sciences and HC related work because it's pretty much all they do. They work with companies of all sizes in the space so you'll be well versed in health care. Though if it's only sales/marketing work there is a chance that you're not getting the full spectrum of health care consulting work.
