Does anyone have any info on what work is like at Alvarez and Marsal, specifically in the valuations team? In terms of types of projects, pay and exit ops. (UK only)
I applied to a role in their valuations group a while back and heard nothing for a long time but now suddenly a recruiter from them has reached out to me and I just want to re-evaluate whether it's a place I want to be applying to.
I'm currently in the business modelling team of a Big Four, however I'd like to get into a CF/M&A role or an investment analyst position at a PE/infra fund. As such a valuations job (unless I end up loving it and just move up the ranks) would be just another stepping stone that I'm not sure I really need.
