Business Analyst at a bank?
What is it like being a business analyst for a bank? Most general corporate business analysts work on internal projects, but are there any nuances with doing these at a bank instead of a tech/consumer company?
This also seems like a great way to break into Corporate strategy, are these roles usually well respected? Or are they viewed as the internal consultants trying to change how each department works and hated because of it?
Also curious
Depends on the bank/role. Business analysts can do anything from strategy to credit/risk modeling. If you go for one of these programs, make sure you know what you want before applying to a specific team.
