Business development/sales —> strategy roles?
After coffee chat with those working in strategy and reading through forums I am seeing that biz dev and corporate strategy/strategy often comes together. Or those working in sales end up in strategy positions.
Is this a common phenomenon or has it just been a coincidence?
If so would it be a good idea to go into sales/biz dev if I want to work in strategy? Thanks
