carrer opportunities: corporate finance research analyst vs big 4
Hi, I've got a question regarding my carrer opportunities. I have received 3 offers: corporate finance research analyst (McKinsey Knowledge Centre), due dilligence analyst in one of the big 4 firms and one in general audit (also big4). I'm not sure what are the exit opportunities for all of the above. My studies are accredited by the CFA Institute and I'm planning to take the CFA exam soon. I'm not sure if I can further my career by going to McKinsey as it's a back office position. As for the audit offer - I haveheard about the following carrer path: auditor->controller->CFO (and doing cpa in the meantime). I would appreciate any advices.
Not sure about the McKinsey position, but you mentioned the career path of auditor ->controller-> as your other decision. Don't even consider it IMO, as TS-FDD is definitely going to take you farther than plain audit.
