Associate 2 in Consulting Anyone have insight into what it's like working on a Corp dev team at one of the larger banks? Interested in comp, wlb, and overall culture. Can speak from direct experience at two major BBs (think JPM/BofA/Citi/Wells). 100 hour weeks fairly regularly (at both firms). Lots hypothetical analyses for deals that will never ever happen. Lots of resolution and recovery planning crap. Lots of spreading comps. Not very glorious. Sound like FIG banking? It is, minus one key factor: PAY. Comp is abysmal for the amount of hours worked. Borderline insulting.

Corp Dev at BB banks?
