Corp Fin in Professional Services vs. Merchandise/Manufacturing
I've only ever worked for companies that deal with physical inventory, but recently got approached by a recruiter for a professional services firm (consulting, law firms, architects, etc...). How does working on the corp fin side of a professional services firm compare? It seems less interesting, as you don't have the manufacturing or inventory angle, but what are some components of the services side that I wouldn't encounter in my current industry?
