COVER LETTER ADVICE NEEDED!

Hello all,

Applying for a Fortune 500 financial analyst internship program. It's a really solid program and very competitive to get into. I need advice on cover letter so..if you work in F500, or have had internships there, please PM me!

How about you come up with one and we can give you some thoughts? It isn't too hard to find a stock CL and tailor it for yourself. Keep in mind the general rule for cover letters is they won't get you a job, but if you fuck it up real bad it could lose you the job. Just redact any school/company/people's names or anything you think might out you on this site.

Please don't use the M&I cover letter. 1) I'm confident readers have caught on to it by now; 2) It's entirely possible that an F500 reader will actually care about the content of your cover letter.

The M&I resume template.. whatever. I don't use it, but it legitimately is pretty good. But the cover letter? Come on.. if you want the damn job, write a freaking cover letter. You're going to be writing a lot of useless shit for a few years if you get an offer; might as well practice now.
