Financial Analyst at F50?

Hi everyone,

Currently a Sophmore at a non-target with 3.5+ GPA

I've been offered a co op role at a F50 tech firm (MSFT, HP, IBM) as a Financial Analyst in a small team (less than 10 people). The only other thing I have in the pipeline is an Accounting internship at a F100(GE, Boeing, UTX, LMT) for the summer. I'm not too sure on what my day to day will be like and was wondering what are the opportunities for me to break into GTS or maybe even IB with this role?

Thanks,

If you're looking into tech banking, the F50 tech firm for the FA role will be a great way to propel you in. Even though you don't want to go into the tech industry, its a great way to gain some experience and get that brand name onto your resume.

Accounting is a good experience to have but I would definitely lean more towards the FA. It's a broad experience that can be transferred to a variety of areas so it won't hurt you. From my experience though, the FA would allow you to break into GTS/IB a lot better.
