Got a Corp Dev analyst position at a BB out of undergrad, what’s next?

So I’ve recently graduated from school and was really lucky to land a Corp dev analyst position at a large BB. I’ve had IB SA’s in the past and am now wondering what exit ops could there be following this role. Would imagine it would be easy to transition within the bank back to IB but are other options like PE/VC for someone in this role? I took this position and not a return offer from my SA bank but since I’m doing Corp dev at a BB, would imagine the culture and environment would be the same but hours would be much more manageable. Thoughts?

No, it would not be easy to swap into IB. Easier than if you were in risk, compliance, or some other more mundane BO function? Yes. That doesn't make it that easy to switch in. Corp dev is waaaaay slower, especially since banks are not usually very acquisitive. The experience would not be alike, at all. It is the exit opportunity; not sure why you did IB SA positions in the past and then went to corp dev fulltime, with a desire to move back into banking.
