Curious how one’s network develops over time in these roles. Does it grow much at all - let’s say in a corp dev role? What kind of people other than bankers do you cross paths with? Are they execs or more like people your own level? And I presume it grows only within the specific industry vertical your own company operates in?
How about in corp fin / FP&A roles? Does the external network develop much there?
