Help in school orientation
Hi everyone!
Hi everybody!
I'm a swiss student who is starting university next year and has to decide between two different kind of universities for my bachelor: One is the best university of engineering in Switzerland ( "Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne") and the other is the best university in business administration in switzerland ("HEC St-Gall").
I am interested in investment banking and corporate finance / M&A, therefore i would like to know what kind of education I should choose to maximise my chances to work in these financial activities.
Thank you for your advice.
Best regards.
Loïc
The reason of my question is that i have heard that the bank industry in london is looking more and more for people with a strong education in maths which is less the case in HEC St. Gall, this is why i am hesitating with a polytechnical school.
For IB, HEC should be fine. For trading on the other hand, you might consider the polytechnical one. But as far as you want to work in IB, HEC is more revelant and has a better brand, imo.
