How to stand out during CF internship?

Hi all,I am soon to start a finance internship at a top 10 market cap company.

Provided the interns do well, they are shortcut to the AC of their FLDP recruiting.

The process is competitive (12 spaces for EMEA) and every past intern I've spoke to applied for the program.

I want to do the best job I can with this internship and differentiate myself from the other students.

My rotation is in Commercial Functions as a Decision Support Analyst, other students are in Audit, Tax, Corp Strategy and Treasury.

Some tips I've been given so far is join some wider programs and groups within the company, and from my conversations with other people on the program it seems they are pretty happy about the company having an optional 2 day work from homeprogram. Ive never been a fan of working from home so I plan to go in 5 days a week.

I'm not sure of what people on here may think of those tips. I'd be really grateful to hear back anything. Thanks.
