KPMG Deals Advisory (M&A FDD)

Anyone have any experience with this group and possibly their interview process? I have a 3rd interview with them coming up soon I want to make sure I have all my bases covered. So far my previous interviews have been pretty light on technical items and a heavier focus on getting to know me.

Also, let me know if this is the wrong sub-forum to post this thread.

Hey, I can chime in on this a bit because I recently interviewed for them and accepted a job for Deal Advisory FDD. I had a total of 2 interviews, one on campus and one at HQ which was the final, so our processes may be different if you're getting 3 interviews.

They pretty much ask no technical questions, UNLESS you have something on your resume that is very related (any legit type of audit/valuation/PE internship), then the interviewer might poke you a bit and ask you "tell me about what you did at [insert this company here]." In my case, he kept asking about one internship I had so be ready to talk about your resume through and through, know it well.

Other than that, behavioral behavioral behavioral. Act social. From my impression, besides fit, the qualities they look for are in ability to interact with people (client based business after all), examples of you being flexible/adaptable/good at time management, and enthusiasm for this rather niche service line. Make sure you reflect those qualities in the behavioral questions and read up on what FDD actually does, so that you can explain why you're passionate specifically about FDD.
