Middle Market IB -> Strategy
I am about to hit 2 years as a LevFin analyst at a regional bank and starting to think about corporate development. I like the strategic planning / forecasting / M&A / internal consulting aspects of the corp dev roles.
Who are some good companies / industries to look at. I have gone through the forums and see Disney and others mentioned quite a bit, but think those might be a bit out of my league given I am more debt focused (as opposed to M&A) and coming from a regional.
Any thoughts / recommendations are welcome.
