Moving from back office to corporate development/strategy

Hi all- I recently joined WSO and was a former Associate at a hedge fund in CT, working in the back office for the derivatives group. After approximately 4 years, I decided to leave the firm to pursue a new career path. I am interested in corporate development and corporate strategy, and have been looking at analyst/entry level positions. I have taken courses at NYU to enhance my knowledge and have exhausted all of my contacts, but I am still having trouble getting an interview. Any thoughts/recommendations? Appreciate your help!

Hey,

Did you ever get any answers to your questions here? I am in a similar situation (valuation firm not big 4) and want to go into corporate development in health care, but want to do it post MBA. Did you make it in? I am trying to figure out if I could make that switch.
