No feedback given after no offer. Weird to reach out to main MD of the program about what I can do to improve?

Was at a BB this summer virtually and got no offer as well as 0 feedback on why I didn’t get an offer. I asked the recruiter who told me but got no specific information. Would it be weird to ask the MD who basically leads the program on LinkedIn about it and how I can improve or do I just move on?

The MD was the head of the program and is basically in charge of it all. Pretty sure the MD had more say in offers then HR, which sucks since I met with the MD weekly over the summer and thought it went super well despite being virtual
