Recent BSBA Graduate - Introduction

Hello,

My name is Damian and I am a recent graduate with a bs in business administration focused in finance.  I have been looking for a position in corporate finance for a few months and have had no luck.  Could really use some advice on where to start.

Thanks

It will be easiest to cruise LinkedIn, which can be challenging at times. You can set a job search to feed you roles that have "FP&A" or "Analyst" in the title. Working for a public company can have challenges so I would encourage a privately held corporation.

Also having a willingness to relocate will be helpful. I am not sure if you are focused on any location or not, but having a willingness to relocate will get you in the door more easily than not being willing to relocate.

Dish Networks has been really looking for an analyst ASAP - Denver

Redfin - Seattle

Amazon seems to always be looking for someone - Seattle

Splunk - Seattle

Twilio - Denver/LA

I have been all over linkedin, indeed, and handshake for the last few months, seems the only interviews I can get are for sales positions.

I am not even looking for jobs in my area, really trying to move to Texas, but I'll be sure to check out your suggestions.  I'm currently interviewing with GS, but I have been waiting for a response for 2 months.
