Sr Financial Analyst at a big 4 cell phone carrier

hello all...

I work for one company as a sales men... I was able to get the ear of a VP of another company, and got an interview for a SR financial analyst position...

i have NO experience as a financial analyst.. just 1 year of school in a non target ms fin program...I made it thru the first interview, and have a panel interview coming in the future...

a few questions...

1. what EXACTLY will i be doing as an analyst for a telecommunications company?
2. what to expect for the panel interview?
3. if i do well at this... am i setting myself up for future success?
4. average salary for a sr financial analyst is 85 here in dallas... what kind of salary should i ask for? during the interview, i said i wanted to be on par with the market.

i'm 23.. and will finish my ms fin program @ 24... and will prolly have a solid year of experience as a fin analyst under my belt...

how far can i take this?
