Strategy / Corp Dev Analyst Comp - Southern California
Hi all,
Current 1st year analyst looking at some strategy / corp dev analyst positions in SoCal and have been asked what I'm targeting in comp. What would all-in compensation look like for an analyst position with <1 year experience look like?
Appreciate any thoughts and any recommendations of what I should say I'm targeting. Thanks!
Less than one year experience? Prob $100k - $115k all-in. Maybe more, maybe less depending on role and firm, but that's what I'd expect if I were you.
Currently a 1st year analyst at a BB with ~7 months experience. Do you think $85k would be a lowball? I would've thought $115k would be more associate level comp.
I agree with $100-$115K all-in. Knew someone on the high end of the range after ~1.5 years at an MM bank and this was at a F500 in SoCal.
