Treasury Internship

Hello All- I just landed an internship at a F1000 company in Atlanta as the Investor Relations and Treasury Intern. I feel pretty proud of myself since I had to network really hard to get anything at all, considering I go to a very small, very non-target liberal arts school. Anyway, my 5-10 year goal is to get into corp dev at an F500. My ambitious 15-20 year goal is to get to C-Suite level. In your opinions, what is the best route for this? More specifically, with all else equal, would FP&A or Treasury/IR be better for these goals? I know that an MBA is definitley going to be needed at some point.

Finally, any tips on things I should brush up on before the summer so I can shine in this internship? Thanks!
