Undergrad senior seeking advice

Ive always be fascinated with consumer products strategy and also retail strategy. Everything about it seems very "tangible" to me. I will be joining a FIG team soon so I wont be anywhere near cpg/industrials/tech coverage teams. To be honest, im not very interested in doing IB and only went after it because everyone around me was doing it. Is a MBA the only way for me to move to a firm like P&G doing strategy work?

Do you want to corp strat or corp dev?

Corp dev is typically where bankers go as it's M&A type stuff. Corp strat is typically where consultants go as its strat.

Since you're in banking, corp dev would be considerably easier. I'm not sure on how feasible it is to transfer from ib to corp strat, or even from corp dev to corp strat. Probably someone else on here that could help you with that.

I have a tender spot in my heart for cripples, bastards, and broken things
