What to expect in Corp Dev Mgr interview?

Hey Monkey’s - I have an interview next week for a f500 Corp Dev manager role. Been in consulting (fin transformation) for a little over 4 years, and did 2.5 years of FP&A at a company in the same industry as this f500. What should I be expecting in terms of technical interview q’s, case study, etc? Anything I should be brushing up on?

CD Interviews can be a bit all over the place in terms of the interview process.

I can provide advice based on my interview experience for Manager roles in the space:

I made sure I could speak reasonably well to my deal experience background. I essentially walked each interviewer through the different deal processes I led and was involved in for prior roles. If you do not have an M&A background, try to tie your experience as much as you can to the role with an emphasis on how you led different processes and worked with different teams towards a certain goal.

In terms of technicals, it may come up so I would make sure to brush up on the different interview guides (WSO, M&I to name a few) that are available but no need to get too in the weeds for those guides.

Case studies are not as common (Although I did have a modeling test for one of my CD roles) but I imagine a case study may involve putting together a valuation case on a particular company and making a recommendation for either proceeding or not moving forward with buying a particular company.

This is a bit stream of consciousness at the moment but those are my initial thoughts
