Will my offer for Fortune 20 corporation be rescinded?

Received an offer for a Fortune 20 corporation as entry-level financial analyst. Applied to the job when I had a 3.0+ gpa, which was the requirement. Professors submitted a few grades after the interview process lowering my gpa to a 2.93.

Will my offer be rescinded? Will they find out my actual GPA through the background check? Heard that most companies don't.

Doubtful. The background check won't say what your grades were, the only way they can see your GPA is if they ask for a transcript, A 2.93 is close enough to a 3.0 that there is a very slim chance they will care.
