Career Growth | LMM Private Credit

Trying to get some feedback on the best path forward. I’m at an Ivy going into my junior year. This summer I’m at a LMM/MM PC shop as a summer associate doing debt placement, loan origination, and underwriting. Long term, I’d love to be at a large AM firm in their credit arm or at a PC firm. IB recruiting has passed, and I’m not sure how PC recruiting works for 26’. I feel confident about getting a return offer at my current shop, but I’m unsure about exit opps or career growth at a smaller firm.

Any advice or direction would be greatly appreciated.
