CB vs. CIB on Resume
I see a lot of people on here stressing CIB>CB. Why is CIB seen as more pretigious when corporate banking is corporate banking? If I’m working at a bank with a CIB division in corporate banking (not touching the investment banking side), should I put Corporate & Investment Banking Analyst or just Corporate Banking Analyst?
put corporate banking analyst on your resume if you don’t do banking? Just b/c a wealth management person works for an investment bank doesn’t make him an investment banking analyst. My point: corporate title not equal to division within a firm
Agee with the above. Put Corp Banking Analyst. If you put CIB which implies that you also work on IB deals, you would be absolutely grilled about that and looks bad if you can’t explain it well.
