Distressed and Special Situations in London

LevFin ASO1, currently have 2 offers on the table: one for a distressed fund and another one for PC in a MF. I am personally inclined to go for Distressed, but am concerned about the lifestyle. Insights on general WLB in the industry in London? Is it much worse than PC?

bump as I am in a similar position and genuinely curious (incoming LevFin A1 but also curious about Distressed and PC)

What size is the distressed fund? If it is of relatively good size, i.e. not a small shop, I would definitely take that role. You will see people move from MF PC to these type of roles as it brings more interesting investment situations opposed to highly competitive PC processes - MF PC is churning investment memos and I would argue a much worse lifestyle..
