MM RX Consulting to Private Credit?

Hi all,
Wanted to get your thoughts on the possibility of transitioning straight from a MM RX Consulting role (think FTI, Ankura, BRG, etc.) to a PC investing role. Has this been done? Given how small the name-brand boutique RX firms are relative to AP & A&M, LinkedIn searches haven’t yielded many results.
Definitely have plenty of deal experience (due diligence, pure refinancing, ABL, bridge, DIP, etc. negotiations and distressed m&a negotiations) I’d say we hire bankers 5/10 times on Debtor work and 2/10 times on lender work.
Anyway, would love to hear some thoughts on making the jump with middle market RX advisory experience only. TIA.
