Hey there! Based on the most helpful WSO content, it seems that the recruiting timeline for Private Credit Associate positions can vary quite a bit. Unlike some other roles, it may not follow a strictly structured timeline. This could mean that you might find yourself recruiting for several months. It's also possible that you might have to be open to different strategies due to the limited number of roles that perfectly fit your criteria. Remember, it's a marathon, not a sprint, so don't get too exhausted! If you need any specific details or want to discuss anything further, feel free to reach out. Keep your spirits high and good luck!

Been in a few processes the past couple months and get the impression PC is almost all off-cycle and pretty unstructured compared to PE, especially for non-MFs. Got a heads up from a recruiter that KKR Credit Solutions was aiming to kickoff their process like the week after PE on-cycle then never heard from them again so assuming that's finished but I could be wrong. In my experience the PC recruiting timeline also seems less painful and drawn-out than off-cycle PE (still slow as hell though), anything more than 2-3 calls with VPs/principals, modeling test, and case study + debrief interview would be excessive. Hope this helps
