Private Credit at Long Only AM vs MM Bank UK
Hi, I am a 1st year analyst on a rotational grad programme in LONDON for an asset maanger (think m&g, aviva, schroders, pgim etc.). 1st seat in private credit. Have an offer at a mid market investment bank that only does debt, e.g. InfraDebt, Levfin, RE debt etc. ultimately want to be on the buyside, but comp of a British MM is circa 15k more than the LO AM. What would you do career wise? also LO AM assoicate pay is like 20k less than MM assoicate pay (excluding bonuses for both)
