What is going on at Blue Torch?
With Near and Troika filing I swear they've done like 7 loan-to-own stalking horse credit bids this year. Are they doing this on purpose or is it just a matter of the loans that they were making?
They got a horrible culture from what I have personally heard from someone that works there now
Higher octane lending. They were recruiting for a senior workout guy but had an in-house guy take that role. Interviewed with them and one guy was a complete jerk. Culture seems like it sucks although a couple of more senior partner guys seemed more normal. Everyone knows culture sucks.
They won’t lose money on each loan to own. Really depends on what you are looking for. A couple of former employees didn’t exactly love their experience.
Also make sure you can handle portfolio management as they do a weekly portfolio review that you have to prep for.

Have heard nothing but bad things about that place in terms of process and the loans they make
