Are Cryptos worth getting into?

anyone in any crypto currencies? i'm adversed with the stock market but unfamiliar with cryptocurrencies. all executives and traders i know say tey are all iffy about cryptos because unpredictable and there's no physical cash... thoughts?

The short answer is: yes.

The long answer is: start by reading Cryptoassets by Chris Burnike and Jack Tatar. IMO crypto is like the internet in the 90s. Hard to explain to outsiders and growing (yet still relatively small) acceptance from the status quo.

If you wanna get into it you'll have to learn it on your own. Whereas negative opinions on it are like 99% ignorant, positive opinions tend to sound too idealistic. See it for yourself and form your own opinion.

Bullish on crypto space as a whole. There are so many interesting projects with possibly long-term potential going on outside of the usual btc/eth chatter, but those two, especially btc, continue to captivate people's attention.

Been in the markeds for over 4 years. Definitively the future, only thing is which coins will be used and which will fade away? So that’s what the speculation is in the long term.

Short term, TA works very well and I will advise every single one in this forum to check out DEFI coins. These cryptocurrencies are working to decentralize finance. Very interesting and could be major for many here to take a look at and may find a promising project.

Don’t invest with money you can’t afford to lose, crypto market is very volatile. Best investments usually happens in 5-7 years. Understand what you invest in and important that you understand BTC/ALT correlation.

I am interested in making a chat or something with people from this forum interested in cryptocurrencies. A shame to have so many smart people in gathered in one place and not take benefit from it. (Specially in finance)
