Thoughts on Blockchain?
UBS's innovation chief believes that the successful implementation and adoption of blockchain, a digital ledger in which transactions made with bitcoin are recorded publicly, will take a couple of years. CIO of Societe Generale commented that "building a new infrastructure for capital markets is not simple or trivial." How long do you think blockchain will take to be integrated in the banking industry? How much potential does it offer?
