Feedback on new modeling tool?
I'm a software engineer, and I've built an Excel add-in that makes it much faster to get data from 10-Q's, 10-K's, and 8-K's into your models.
It lets you read filings directly inside of Excel, insert data by clicking on any number in the filing (no copy/paste), and see precisely in the filing where the number in any cell came from.
It also calendarizes (calendar year, LTM, Q4) automatically.
I think it can save a bunch of time spent building and updating models, and I'd like to hear what you think.
