Lincoln portfolio valuation or Equity research exits and compensation

I recently got into ER at a smaller bank. I was wondering what compensation growth looked like and what potential exits there are? I also have an offer from Lincoln international for portfolio valuation. I would be making 30-40k more at Lincoln which is super tempting for me to take. But I also feel like equity research will be better for other opportunities and I will eventually make more. Can anyone steer me in which direction I should go? I know they are two very different career paths… really do not know what to do
