Advice on Tailored Pants - material

Looked up a couple threads but just wanted to confirm for tailored (bespoke-cheap labor in the americas) pants for young IB guy?

Pleated or flat-front?
Cuffed or not-cuffed?
Button or hook?

Colors-> black, navy blue, different shades of grey, any others?
(How many pants do I need total, 5?)

And most importantly, what kind of material? part-polyester, full-wool, cotton? what makes a pant wrinkle-free?

Good quality 100% wool pants. Get couple shades of navy, couple different shades of charcoal and stone. I would go non pleated (flat front), not cuffed (shortens your legs length visually) and hook and button combination. Don't buy polyester pants, you will get sweaty quicker. They don't breathe as well as wool does.

Thanks Beny! couple questions, Do people ever wear just straight black colored pants?

And can Wool be machine-washed or does it have to be dry-cleaned? also does Wool wrinkle a lot?
