Black Textured Suit for interview/formal wear
Hi Guys. Per your guys advice, I didn't get the sharkskin suit. I see a black wool suit. It looks excellent except for the fact that it is textured striped. Picture is below with spaces since I can't post links

Is the fact that it's a textured striped makes it too casual for job interviews?
I am also getting this which I think is charcoal:

I suspect that this would be a good choice for job interviews too?
Also I see people suggest buying wool. What is the advantages of wool over Polyester/rayon? It looks like wool is more expensive.
Black suits: - funerals - waiters, maître d' - musician - nightclubs
They are not considered appropriate for business. You won't burn and die for wearing one to an interview, and if you're not in a financial position where you can afford to go get a new suit, by all means wear the suit you own. You shouldn't be going and purchasing a black suit as your first suit though.
Wool is a quality material. If you get man-made fiber: - it will not last as long (a quality suit can last a decade, a polyester suit is going to last a matter of months) - it will not look good (it's very easy to tell a suit of inferior quality) - it will smell worse (wool is more forgiving of the oils and odors your body naturally secretes, the material comes from a living animal so it's literally designed to do the same for the animal it came from)
Stay away from anything that isn't 100% wool.
The problem with black suits is that it makes almost every complexion except olive skin look pasty in daylight. Blue and charcoal are better for business, but if black is what you have wear it, trust me it does not matter (and I've worked in a group where people are expected to know and follow "the rules").
Get a wool suit though. Trust me, you want that sweat to be wicked away come hour 4 of your superday.
Only wear black if it is your only option.

Or a 3/2 roll. Do not get straight up three buttons and certainly not one button.
