Buy a suit in Iraq?

Okay,

I am deployed in Iraq and there are some custom tailors here. They seem to have pretty nice material, but I am hesitant to have a suit made here. The prices are like $250 for a suit, custom tailored. What do you guys think? I feel like i would be better off going to a brooks brothers outlet and having something off the rack fitted at a tailor. I had a bad experience having suits made in Korea. They gave me pleats (fucked up ones) when I wanted flat-front, and there is no way to fix it now. Obviously I can ask for flat front now, but I still worry about the quality of the suit. Should I be a brand whore or take a chance? I can't afford state-side bespoke.

Thanks,

GG

Edmundo BravermanIt's hard to believe that a suit costs $250 when just last week Bill Maher said you can get a blowjob from a child prostitute in Iraq for a buck.

Of course, that may have been a special arrangement worked out by Blackwater.

A buck? Sounds kinda high. Then again, you get shit cheap when you are carrying an assault rifle...or maybe I just lucked out.

Wow @ the video. Going to get that book.

As for the suit....bargain it down dude. I've learned bargaining is a key skill that you need in the M/E.
