I’ve been out of the interview game for a while but dress code was definitely full suit and tie when I was an associate. Is this still the case for more senior VP / Principal level in person interviews?

Only suit I am wearing is my birthday suit, it even comes with a tie, of sorts
Wear a suit and tie. There is no downside, don’t risk being underdressed.
Ask the recruiter, and make a point of saying you’re prepared to go tie but don’t want to be overdressed. I did the above and was told to go no tie for D/MD interviews.
Not sure if this is PE or IB but I’ve never worn a tie to a PE superday. At associate 1 or lateral senior associate level. All $1-5B MM.
Not wearing a tie to an interview is crazy.
