Dress shoe recommendations (I’m Canadian)
I’m looking to purchase a new pair of dress shoes for sub 300 including tax. I do not change out of my dress shoes, so I would like something comfortable with good ankle support. Additionally, I’d like the pair to last 2 years of daily wear. I understand at that price point it may be difficult but I’d appreciate any suggestions!
Assuming this is in the US/New York, I'd recommend Carmina. Fantastic quality and will last you a long time if you take care of them. Please don't get Allen Edmonds, the awkward white guy's dream shoe. It doesn't have to be namebrand European but at least get European.

In the winter you’ll have to change out of the shoes if you want them to last. The winter weather destroys shoes, especially the salt on the roads/sidewalks
Allen Edmonds without a doubt. Slightly more expensive that the range you listed but you won't regret it. Some of the best quality shoes I've ever had - even compared to wheels that were closer to $1000.
