Dry Cleaning Shirts w/ long work hours

I recognize this may be a dumb question...

I need to dry clean my shirts/suits, but I have to be at work at 7am and don't get out tell ~8pm. Every cleaners I have found opens at 7 and closes around 7. Do I just have to step out from work to get this done?

I live in a dorm right now too, so I am not sure if delivery would be an option...

Most places have shops in the lobby area of their office building. That is the easiest. I would ask the guys you work with, they might have a shop that delivers. We had a guy that did that at HSBC.

you in nyc? its hard to believe that their isn't a dry cleaner open all night or that delivers to dorms. and if it is true that such a business does not exist, then it has the potential to be quite lucrative since it would basically have no competition

looking for that pick-me-up to power through an all-nighter?

Like first poster said, my building had a laundromat on site. Took my dirty laundry with me in a bag on the subway then dropped them off before work or during lunch, picked it up in 1/2 days then hung it up in the work closet/at my desk until I went home. Sadly, my regular laundry was much more of a hassle. Put the stuff in at 11pm if I got home early, meaning I had to stay up the next 2 hours to wait for it to get done.

^that's a random recommendation. and the common stereotype is that koreans own drycleaners, so how do you differentiate and what is the difference [in quality]?

most places in NYC will deliver, if your particular dry cleaner does not, then just go next door. where i used to live there were 6 different cleaners within a 2-block radius, so it shouldn't be hard to find one that delivers.
