What is the consensus on having a well kept beard and or glasses for interviews? Is it disadvantageous to have such qualities for Hirevue interviews? Any idea if the algorithm will mark against someone who does?
For example, the algorithm may have a more difficult time picking up on facial expressions or eye contact.

a friend didn't wear his glasses due to strong reflections on the screen/camera. He wanted to avoid any complications. Unless you need your glasses, I wouldn't wear them.
Traditionally beards have been a no-go. You are supposed to be kept "well-shaven" which usually means no to beards.
I bought a pair of glasses from amazon that look like the ones you would see professors wear at universities. I pop them on when I do my interviews. My eyesight is perfect.
