Final Round Interview - Shoes?

I have my first in person final round with an EB coming up next week.
I normally wear my vivobarefoot leather shoes to formal events but am hesitant to wear it to this interview for its weird look.
Would it be a convo starter or would it just be an instant ding?

Based on the most helpful WSO content, it's crucial to present yourself professionally for an interview, especially in high finance. While your vivobarefoot leather shoes might be comfortable and unique, they might not align with the traditional expectations of an EB interview.

The general consensus on Wall Street Oasis is that it's better to err on the side of caution and stick with traditional dress shoes. You want the focus to be on your skills and qualifications, not your footwear. So, I'd suggest going with a more conventional pair of dress shoes.

Remember, "Wear shoes. Make money. Buy more shoes." That's the Wall Street way! Good luck with your interview!
